For the smaller birds this would be good advice, But for larger species you should only adopt with considerable knowledge

You don’t know until you try.

Our friend’s business partner died which our friend, John, did not know until 6 days later after getting concerned, he went to visit.

The partner was dead leaving a hyacinth and greening macaw plus 2 German Shepards.

John took both giant parrots in, never owning as much as a budgie.

The trio never looked back.

Here’s a random meeting at our common vet’s office 20 years later.
