Green cheek conures average weight is about 70 g – but the general weight range of this species is between 60 to 80 grams. The average length (including tail) is 10 – 11 inches (25 -27 cm).
In my role as an advocate for captive birds, I like to remind people that there are far more Conures than suns and green cheek’s.

The adult length of a Lesser Patagonian 45cm (18in). This is the largest of the Conures and only the Queen of Bavaria’s equals its weight which is 240 – 310 g the size of a Timneh African Grey!
We also feel that conures, in general, are one of the most vocal of parrot species.
