BTW, should you click on the next link it will help to know that “anosmic is the loss of the ability to detect one or more smells, microsmatic is having the sense of smell feebly developed”.
It has been known since 2010 that birds react to avian pheromones.
My guess would be that a bird inhaling pheromones from a predatory mammal could be stressful to the bird.
