Over the years I have greatly appreciated your web posts.
My African grey parrot is 20 years old.
At what age should my parrot be fed the Nutri Senior Berries ?

Catherine responded,
Dear Neil
The Lafeber Senior Nutri-berries can be fed to birds at any age.
Senior Nutriberries are formulated to be easier to digest and also contain selected ingredients to ease birds with health issues due to aging and injuries.
Milk Thistle, iron-rich dates, dandelion, ginger, antioxidant-rich plums and cranberries, glucosamine and chondroitin.
A bird is considered a senior once they reach half of their expected life-span.
An African Greys average life span is 50, so your 20-yo bird is a bit short of halfway there, but can still enjoy Senior Nutri-berries.
Thank you
Catherine
