I (Dana S.) from Buffalo, ordered a Parrotlett seed to be delivered to my parents home; Don R., Schaumburg . The box was delivered at 1:30pm to my parents home and had been soaked in what they believe to be Kerosene.
The postman stated that they are aware of it. The Kerosene soaked through the box and soaked the bag of seed. Please help, my parents need the food ASAP for their bird who ran out.

Here is a list of my birds and the emails from Hagen.
The birds are all breeding pairs: 6 English Budgies, 6 Pacific Parrotlets, 5 Bourke’s, 4 Red Rumps, 4 Eastern Rosellas, 3 Green Cheek Conure’s, 2 White Belly Caiques, and 1 Senegal.
As I mentioned it would be easier for me to have only two diets for these birds.
Whatever help you can be would be appreciated and I look forward to working with you.

Hi everyone, Six months ago my 3 1/2 yo CAG plucked her entire chest and neck overnight.
She had never touched a feather before.

Do the dimensions stated in the bird cage listings include seed guards?
The listed cage dimensions do not include the dimensions for the seed catchers. In general figure an additional 10 inches side-to-side and front-to-back. Using the seed catchers is optional, we don’t suggest using them, they are just another thing to wash and the birds do manage to toss things beyond the seed catchers anyway.

A recent request for information:
Hey guys, how about putting out some info on barometric pressure, and how it effects parrots, as well the wild birds. I’m here on the east coast getting ready for the BIG hurricane and my Parrotlet is acting a bit nervous.
We have known for a long time birds will eat more as air pressure falls. This is because birds know that they have a hard time getting food during a storm and storms are usually associated with falling pressure so by having this innate ability to detect falling air pressure to predict a storm, that gives them more time to prepare much like we do by watching television or listening to the radio and then going to the grocery store.Â
I did review what we have used, but I already know he will love the toy, but I haven’t put it up yet. I will review it though as well.Â
I do have a question….what is a regular customer in your eyes? How many purchases and what time frame?

 Yes, you are correct a 32-inch wide cage is sufficient. That said we believe there is a general misunderstanding of cage sizes in terms of the content found on the Internet. The size cage that a bird needs is really more dependent upon lifestyle both yours and the birds.
