As you have parakeets and have helped me in the past, I have another question.
My female budgie about 10 years old appears to have issues with crop or swallowing.
Not an avian vet in the area and one that is close can’t see her til the 28th!!
She’s sleeping all the time and very fluffy.
So concerned as no one seems to want to help.

Mainly due to severe inbreeding due to no new blood (new birds from Australia) for many years. Budgies are little tumor factories and that your little one has reached 10 years old you are doing very well by it.
Do your best to make her comfortable and enjoy her company for as long as she has left.
When her time comes, bury her in your flower bed so she can enjoy the company of the wild birds forever.
We are very sorry for your understandable sadness and concern.
