My 35 yr old male amazon parrot started trying to hatch a cutie orange.
This began at the beginning of the corona quarantine.
I give him a cutie orange every day as a play toy.
All he has done for the past 10 years is peel it, sometimes eat a little, or throw it in the air like a ball.
Now he sits on it as if he is trying to ‘hatch’ it.
Any ideas on this behavior?
Hi Pamela,
He’s masturbating because of all the extra time you’re now spending with him.
Or, it is really a female and she is trying to hatch it.
