Hello, I was hoping to get your insight on what’s going on with our Pineapple Green Cheek Conure named Mango.
She’s about 13 years old. About 6-weeks ago, we put in a cage heater for her to sit near and keep warm at night instead of using a space heater in her alcove.
We operate Windy City Parrot and our social stores from a large historic (1928) “bungalow.”
About 20 years ago the building suffered a fire that was extinguished by the Lowell volunteer fire department 3 minutes away by a fire truck.

When starting a business as well as running it, general practices dictate that you should have a business plan.
I have two problems with business plans.
The first is Murphy’s Law, which roughly states, “Anything that can go wrong, will.”
In contrast to mammals, birds exhibit remarkable longevity relative to their physical size.
The higher metabolic rate, elevated body temperature, and increased resting glucose found in avian species suggest a potential amplification in the aging process.
