Having the responsibility of digital marketing for Windy City Parrot I Recently Googled the term “parrot care.”
A keyword phrase we need to rank for much better.

In 2 weeks, he lets me pet his head and loves being on my arm. He is flighted and only caged at night. His diet was previously crap...I am…

Every time I try to get my new Congo grey to sit on my hand, he bites me.
How long do I have to keep getting bitten?
Biting is never acceptable.
Not from a bird, dog, cat nor any other pet (said the lion trainer).
Getting bitten solves nothing.
One of the questions we ask here is why is your bird aggressive?
In many cases this is a hormonal issue that can partially be controlled with light.

This is a Quora question stated in full
As a bird owner, have you ever made your own seed/food mixture instead of buying store-made mixes? What type of seeds, nuts, dried herbs/veggies/fruits have you added and what type of bird do you own?
My shy retiring answer – Absolutely not!

A while back I wrote about
Help! My Bird’s Egg Bound but the Vet Won’t be In Until Tomorrow.
I was talking on the phone to Dr. Byron de la Navarre recently about avian vitamin D3 testing (under wraps during research) when we got off-track for a moment and began a conversation about veterinary emergency care for birds.
So your task for today after you’re done with brunch is to find a local emergency care veterinary facility (if you have one in your area), make a note, and put it on the refrigerator

More specifically
Are ionized air purifiers safe for my lovebird?
Absolutely not! (MitchR)
Although marketed as being able to “scrub the air”, these “ionizers” do not remove airborne dust to a significant degree but do generate ozone, an unstable oxygen molecule (O3). Read more: (more…)

I have tried to answer the post regarding the bird having strokes/seizures.
I have experience with that.
Once I try to post an answer it asks me again for a WordPress login or to just enter my login.
So twice it asks me for login but it still doesn’t work and I really want to give the person the info I know so she can discuss it with her Vet.
I don’t have Word Press and don’t do FB.
