8/23/2018 – I have a Hawkheaded parrot named Rudy (above) that is the greatest companion!
He has been with me for the past 2 years & comes out with me daily.

I have had a 10-year-old female Goffin’s cockatoo in my care for 2-1/2 years.
Editor’s note: Goffin’s cockatoo aka, Tanimbar corella aka Goffin’s corella.
Her owner was someone I knew most of my life and she committed suicide suddenly with no warning.
She had many animals.
Horses, dogs, cats, snakes, rats, and a bird.

good evening Mitch, we recently put up an outside aviary for our rescue Indian ring neck.
we do not have regular screening up because we were afraid it would keep out the UV Light.
should we use that because of bugs, bees and mosquitos?

I clearly have been remiss by not keeping everybody up with the lives of our six budgies.
Ever since we adopted the last two, Biscuit and Gravy, the dynamics have certainly once again changed in the cage environment.
Putting things in perspective there are only two males, Jam and Eggs, the other four are females.

Hello.
We have a 7 year old African grey.
Unfortunately we made a mistake and did not train him properly.
We are having problems with his behavior.
He attacks.
He bites.

Indian ringnecks are marvelous birds and I’ve had the great fortune to live with the species in two different households.
They’re not big birds they weigh an average of 115 g about the body size of a Senegal or a fat cockatiel but the long tail gives the impression that it’s a much larger bird.
The overall length of the bird must be taken into consideration when choosing the right birdcage and especially the travel carrier.
They can be quite tame and are a relatively good talker.

Every time I put my arm in the cage he attacks it, or he flies at me when I look in the cage.
My female looks depressed like she would rather he move out.
