Is My Blue and Gold Macaw Going Thru the Terrible Twos?

Does my Blue and Gold Macaw go thru the terrible twos?
She picks at my clothes, my blankets, and when I put her up at night she dumps her food on the floor.

My beloved Macaw is 44 inches long including a 26-inch long tail.
I’ve searched on Amazon and everywhere for 3 years but no carrier will accommodate him and I will NOT allow his tail to be bent in a smaller one (the largest Wingabago made is still too short for him).
Donna L. is concerned,
Hello!
I have heard about rope perches and all of the “pros” make sense except one con, their nails getting caught in the threads.
I don’t have Henny’s, my beautiful 21-year-old Meyers, nails clipped because she falls off of me or various other things.
She is free flight in the house, unless I am doing anything that could hurt her, or when I need my time.

My bird is 14 years old. I have had him/her since being a baby!
Every day she regurgitates about a cup full in her cage!
When I leave her with an experienced bird keeper she does not do this!
They indicated that I may be petting her in a way that arouses her and that may be the problem.
She has been doing this for years.
Could it be how I’m feeding her? Usually, I feed her orange slices, 1 cracker, 2 peanuts, and a scoop of Zupreem twice a day.
Plus I give her another couple of peanuts as a treat during the day?
Rachel C. is concerned,
My African grey picks his feathers.
He has free roam of the house with a large perch in the living room.
He doesn’t like water and doesn’t like any toy I get him.
He does like the challenge of taking the lids off old pill bottles to find a treat.
He likes very few people. He definitely does not like little people. He goes outside with me and enjoys climbing around. I put him in the cage
Mitch, I am horrified at the answer you gave the woman who wrote to you asking what temperature is safe when taking her Parrot camping.
Your answer was very open-ended–too open to interpretation.
I have a very extensive science and medicine background so your answer horrified me because there are so many people of all ages with such differing temperature tolerances.
I have seen on more than 2 occasions people outside in weather in the 20s-30s Fahrenheit temperature range out and about without a jacket and in a thin shirt or top.

We like to take our parrots camping with us (and our dogs and horses).
We’re thinking of going earlier, hence colder this year.
How much cold can they take?
It’ll probably get in the high 30’s in the AM (inside the camper).
Thank you

George is 18 yo large B/G kept in the family room.
Do I give him a majority of pellets or seed?
Catherine replied:
Dear Brenda,
A varied diet is always the best. All pellets nope, all seeds, nope, all veggies and fruits nope. A variety of them all daily, yep.
Kim W. wants to know
Can I Put A Baby Budgie In With My Cockatiel?
Dear Kim
One-word answer. NO!
We recently were given a baby parakeet from a customer who found it outside her apartment building.
She could not keep it as she has an ailing bird currently and didn’t want to take a risk.

Dear Mitch and Catherine.
Our 22-year-old sun conure recently passed.
She was a family member her entire life.
We occasionally look at bird rescue sites.
My hesitation is we have 2 dogs that limit just how much a bird can be out of the cage.
