Would CBD Oil Help A One Eyed African Grey?

Name: Inna M

Hello.

We have a 7 year old African grey.

Unfortunately we made a mistake and did not train him properly.

We are having problems with his behavior.

He attacks.

He bites.

He is angry.

He only obeys one person in the house.

Is it too late to train him? Who can we turn to?

Thank you.

12 YouTubers For Parrot Lovers You Need To Know

At first I thought to myself “this’ll be fun.”

Once I started the project it was a bit more difficult than I forecasted.

I originally started with 9 YouTube channels but some favorites needed to be included not simply based upon numbers.

For those who are not following on us Facebook or our YouTube channel, you’ll note that we are ramping up our use of Fid-eo to better communicate caged bird care.

Can Soy Contribute To Bad Parrot Behavior?

Hello! I have a question concerning Indian Ringnecks.

I have 2 males, ages 9 and 11, both rescues, each very unique, due somewhat to their reasons for rescue.

Eats them every day with fruit and other veggies. Should I cut him off in Springtime?

How to Convert a Bird to Hagen Pellets

Complete, or formulated diets are “balanced” as the bird must eat the nutrients in the ratio intended. MIXED diets (seeds, fruits, and table foods) are much harder to balance and require the time-consuming use of a supplement. SEED diets are invariably low in calcium and vitamin A and high in fat and phosphorous.

A simple and SAFE way to convert most pets to a better diet is to start by cleaning the cage each evening, and leaving ONLY Tropican in the feeders (I may sprinkle some on the floor or place a small dish on the floor as well).

How Much Should My Birds Weigh?

  Average Bird Weights

Healthy adult cockatiels usually weigh 78 to 125 grams. Birds should always be weighed in grams, which is a metric measurement. (There are approximately 28 grams in an ounce.) It is important that a bird is weighed on an accurate gram scale. Electronic scales are available for purchase from bird-supply companies and office-supply retailers. These can be modified by installing a lightweight perch to facilitate weighing birds.

The Pet Bird Keepers Myths – Myth

Imagine a world where you spend every day looking at, reading about, or having conversations with other pet bird keepers. File this under “be careful what you wish for.” That said I will tell anyone upfront, I’m not an expert on caged bird keeping. I don’t have a degree – in anything. I haven’t written a book – yet.
